In my personal opinion, Aerofly 2021 is one of the most underrated flight simulators in the aviation-sim scene. It has rather good graphics, high quality plane models, no in-app-purchases / subscriptions, and even runs on my 2016 iPhone 7. Its a one time payment for 23 different planes ranging from the mighty A380 to the tiny C-172SP, all with 3D, interactive cockpits. If it got more attention, it could 100% rival XPlane Mobile. Despite this, there are some minor issues that I’ve encountered: - The satellite scenery is very average, it could use some improvements - There are no graphical options, meaning you cannot change graphics to suit your device (e.g. no “Low”, “Medium”, and “High” presets) - The game does not have the full world, rather downloadable countries, which can take up to 4GB (of which there are 5 or-so) - There is no multiplayer, so the singleplayer does get stale at times (there is an option for AI planes, but they’re not very noticeable and they degrade performance ...

I was a huge fan of the original and spent hours gliding around the alps. This is a huge leap forward and for a one off purchase you get everything. Being uk based it’s fantastic to have that as a free download. I’ve also enjoyed revisiting Switzerland, and that’s where I really noticed the difference in improved physics and the detail of landscapes. Having flown many hours with xplane and infinite flight I think they all have a place. The subscription on infinite flight is pretty amazing, but I found it frustrating at times with people just ignoring ATC and going out of their way to disrupt. It’s expensive too in the long run. X plane is enjoyable but I didn’t rate the global experience. Aerofly does a good job, with graphics to rival any other and a price which i think gives the best value for money. Well done. Next mission is to glide from Lands End to John O’Groats!

After a brief problem with downloading regions, which was swiftly fixed, I’m now able to fly around places such as London, which look remarkable. Flying in to London city is one of my favourites with all the buildings around. In terms of future developments, if the smaller houses were able to be added, and tiny details such as cars on roads etc, I think this would make it a truly submersive and realistic experience. For the price though, there are no complaints whatsoever. Another aspect I’d like to see introduced if possible, is a way to speed up transit time in the air. Eg. Not having to physically fly 14 hours LA to UK. Other small aspects which would make the game really immersive I think are details such as pushback, and a weight configuration for the aircraft, going between light and heavy etc. Again, don’t know how easy that is to implement, just offering my suggestions.

Seeing other air traffic is a very welcome addition, thank you for that. For £9.99, though, I would have expected you to have sorted out the region download issues as a priority; was this issue not identified prior to launch? As with previous versions, this remains my favourite phone/tablet based flightsim. The graphics are superb, as are most of the flight dynamics......though, while I have no first hand experience, I’m fairly confident that in an autorotation scenario, the EC135 would reach ground level much sooner than this app would have you believe (it kinda glides, as opposed to plummets!) A few British military aircraft wouldn’t go amiss, either. Please consider adding an Army Air Corps Gazelle helicopter and Britten Norman Islander (pretty please!!) There’s a 5 star review just dying to get out of me, once the download problems have been addressed!
