Description
Decked Drafter is the only app designed to help Magic: the Gathering players improve their draft and sealed deck skills, featuring a full draft simulator and expert strategy tips and card ratings. The perfect app for any draft or sealed deck fan, players can pick the Magic the Gathering expansion they would like to practice with, then launch into an event against seven other A.I. opponents. Open powerful cards from sets like Scars of Mirrodin and easily sort the contents by color, type and rarity. Then pick the best card for your deck and pass the rest to your opponent, working to build the most powerful deck at the table. Making the right draft pick is never easy, but for the first time ever you're not alone. Marlon Egolf, DraftMagic.com columnist and Grand Prix Boston 2009 Champion, provides a full strategy analysis for each Magic card contained within the app. Improve your strategy skills with the help of these card ratings, which give a detailed look into the power level of each card. His expert ratings are also used to tune the A.I. opponents, making Decked Drafter the closest experience to actually drafting with the pros, and an incredible strategy resource. After the draft is finished, build your deck using the simple interface, swapping cards around with a simple touch. Once the deck is built, test it in the draw simulator, email the list to your friends, or print out the decklist and assemble the deck with your own collection! Or access the handy card ratings and strategy tips at any time, making Decked Drafter the perfect pocket guide for your next draft event. Whether you're a seasoned drafter looking to refine your skills, or a Magic noob just learning how to play, this is the app for you! Please fix the Dominaria pack generator. There is at least one legendary creature in every Dominaria pack IRL so that should also be the case in the app. That one difference makes a large change in how you draft and since we use this app to practice for a real draft, we should be looking at packs that are as close to realistic as possible.

This app has extreme potential I used it when Hour of Devastation was new, however I don’t think that charging $4 per set is fair without the option for multiplayer drafting with other humans, a locally stored card database and collection system. Honestly decked builder and drafted should be one homogenous app. And I’d be willing to pay more for a single program. I’d even be willing to pay maybe $5 or $10 in the builder app for a draft function that asks maybe $1 per set or better yet, has a 1 time purchase option that unlocks all future sets. Hell, I’d even be willing to put up with ads on an app that I payed for if the draft function were free. Once a set rotates out of standard, it should honestly be free.

I love this app. I have been playing MTG for about 9 months and this app is helped me go from an 0-3 player to a consistent 2-1 and occasionally 3-0 player. The reviews for each card are a great starting point and simulating is easy. I like it more on ipad then iphone however until I know the cards, then both are great. I do wish there was more communication from the development team ... why no Ultimate Masters? And what about Ravnica Allegiance? As of pre release weekend, they do not have Allegiance ... I wonder if WOTC forbids them to add the set until release date? Not sure.
