Fit For Footy gives you personalised skills, fitness and nutrition delivered to you by the best AFL and AFLW players, coaches, and high-performance staff. We are working with the AFL to support community football and the talent pathway during these challenging times. We will be providing our platform for free to all users to ensure players all over the country can train with the best programs, and learn from the the best players, safely, so that you can hit the ground running when the season returns. We believe the information from the greatest players in the game will make you the best that you can be. We created an app that brings together all the information in one place, from industry leaders and then personalised the information to your age, gender, level of fitness and level of footy. All of this is designed to help you become the very best Aussie Rules player you can be. Whatever level of the game you play, download Fit For Footy and let our elite players and expert staff give you the tips, techniques and training routines you need to lift your performance and make you the best you can be. Personalised content - We personalise various parts of the content on the app to your age, gender, level of fitness, level of footy and body weight. Footy, Fitness, and Fuel On the Footy Fitness and Fuel page, we show you exactly what you are meant to do for the day, for those 3 areas. All you need to do is click on the various sections and complete what is shown. Footy We have the best players in the game teaching you skills so that you can work on your craft and take your game to the next level. We also have a special section called “Like a Superstar” where on your main training day, you will be taught by a Superstar player of the game. Fitness Our High performance staff from the AFL and AFLW have devised the best programs for you at your age and level of fitness. We cover strength and conditioning programs as well as daily recovery sessions. Fuel We have personalised your meals to your age, weight, level of fitness and gender. Our Sports Dieticians have planned meals depending on if it’s your training day, a rest day, game day or the day leading into games. Just follow the recommended meal plans in the Fuel section of the app. We also have personalised Hydration strategies so that you can learn how best to rehydrate after you train or play. Weekly Calendar The weekly calendar has been designed to replicate what AFL and AFLW players do during the week. We tell you exactly what to do every day of the week. We have planned the different parts that you are meant to be doing in terms of recovery, the various skills sessions, strength, conditioning and how you are meant to be fueling your body. Simply click on the various buttons on the day highlighted and it will take you to the relevant part of the app. We want to give you all the best information, but its up to you to decide how serious you want to take things. Workout Section This section allows you to find all the training information on the app in one spot.
