I'm another one that's late to the party on this but boy, am I glad I decided to come. I played a free 'taster' intro level and instantly broke the habit of a lifetime and paid for a game. Without hesitation, I knew I had to have it. The graphics are sumptuous, the gameplay is smooth and glitch free, the sounds are evocative and atmospheric. The puzzles are brilliantly devised - not too difficult but challenging. That moment when you ask for a clue (you get three on each puzzle) and rather than feeling 'Dammit!' you grin and shake your head in devilish wonderment. It really is THAT GOOD. If you're one of those people who checks reviews before you DL, please take my word for it and get this game now. If you like puzzles, adventure, slightly gothic vibes and clever twists, you'll love this well deserved five starred (IMO) game. I've just bought the Room 2 and I might well pee my pants.

Beautiful visuals, brilliant puzzles, and nice music & sfx. I just wish there were a few more levels. :) There are a couple of bug points were the screen went black and the game appeared to hang - I got around these by either going back to home screen and switching back to the game or by restarting and selecting continue. No progress was lost. This game is years old, so don’t expect an update. I can’t believe there are people who expect this type of app to be free - software takes time to create, and personally I would prefer to pay a little bit of coin to avoid having to watch a video add every couple of minutes!!!

The game is absolutely excellent! Amazing concept, wonderful graphics for a phone game and enticing puzzles that are wonderfully rewarding when solved! But unfortunately there are problems; first off, moving apparatus that can assume multiple positions shake uncontrollably for some reason and thus can make a puzzle (almost) impossible to solve because it simply won’t hold still to assume a position. Second, sometimes when a secret compartment is opened with sound effects after having done so once it will continue on and on and on for a while before it completely stops. Sometimes this even extends to a ‘cutscene’ involuntarily moving the camera to the aforementioned opening. It unfortunately can ruin the experience and immersion of this game as well as frustrate the player. I hope you’ll be able to look into this to fix it because I’m deeply invested in continuing the game to finish it.

Not normally a gamer or really enjoy app games. Tried another free escape room app and couldn’t solve the problems without cheating and even then the solutions didn’t make sense. Just completed the first level of this app. It’s challenging but achievable. I love the number of tasks, that the clues do help but don’t ruin the challenge and that ultimately it is achievable as the answer is in front of you if you just persevere. At a time when the world has gone all a bit crazy and scrolling social media is too depressing, this app is a great escape and way to just chill out and have some fun at the same time. Highly recommend.
